Minimalistic Cloudscape Wedding Styled Shoot | Park Studios | Atlanta Wedding Photographer

Capturing this styled shoot at the Cassie Valente Mentoriship Workshop at Park Studios was a dream come true!

When I attended the Cassie Valente Mentorship Workshop back in November, I had a goal of learning a new style of posing and absorbing as much information as possible from her. I never in a million years thought I would get to capture such beautiful images as these. This shoot’s inspiration came from Andrea of Beautiful Wild Design, who was one of the teachers of the workshop. She created this editorial design just for us to practice on! She and Cassie chose Park Studios for the amazing natural light, which was perfect for the natural light film photographers to shoot in. Our bride McCall is an experienced model and her boyfriend Jake graciously joined in; it is always so fun to work with a couple in love!

Capturing this styled shoot at the Cassie Valente Mentoriship Workshop at Park Studios was a dream come true!

The feel of this design was inspired by a clear sky at sunset, with the softness of wispy clouds. Andrea wanted a look that was modern and minimalist while still feeling elegant and inviting. Soft pink, warm neutrals and hints of copper and gold add some warmth to the clean white, blue, and gray. The bouquet of fluffy peonies, roses, and Queen Anne’s Lace is tempered by soft wild grasses and foraged silvery leaves. Tiny gold flakes adorn the delicious cake from Gingerspice Bakery to add pure elegance to the shoot. The gown by designer Elaya Vaughn is the perfect blend of clean modern style and ethereal romance, and Corie of Vigilante Cosmetics created a beautiful swept-back hairstyle for our amazing model McCall. The graceful lettering and soft edges of the paper suite by Lairsey Paper Co, with subtle delicate illustrations by Meredith Mejerle, adds an organic touch. Andrea seeks to create a connection to both nature and fine art in everything she designs; low-key blooms and a hand-painted backdrop beautifully sets off the table.
