If I say I have been looking forward to Erin and Bobby’s wedding all Summer, it might be an understatement. I have been excited about Erin and Bobby’s wedding since I first met Erin outside of Simply Done Donuts, where she spilled all about how she had met Bobby at college. She talked about all of her ideas and how she was going to plan their epic wedding at Ivy Hall. It was more solidified when I captured their engagement session and I finally got to meet Bobby!
The rain clouds came and went, but nothing could dampen Erin & Bobby’s happiness for their Wedding Day at Ivy Hall!
The entire week leading up to their wedding day, it predicted sun all day. But, of course, on the morning of the big day, it predicted a little bit of rain right before the ceremony. Thankfully, it held off until the exact moments we didn’t need it to (like when we were driving or when I was shooting them on the bridge at Vickery Creek!). We might have been trapped for a little while on the bridge near Vickery Creek Trail for a bit, but I think it was honestly for the better!
I absolutely loved how Erin and Bobby included their family in as much of their wedding day as possible. Whether it was Bobby’s father’s leather jacket displayed in memory at the ceremony, Erin’s grandmother’s earrings, or even wearing Erin’s mother’s veil, these two definitely put their family first and I loved every minute of it. I loved how they cherished their heirlooms and wanted to make sure they were prominently on display.
Erin & Bobby,
Thank you both for letting me spend your wedding day with you! I had a wonderful time and I cannot wait to see your new family grow! I think Bobby put it best when he said “And lastly, I promise that we will make this the greatest love story”
