A Guide to Atlanta Wedding Venues

My goal for this post is that it will become a complete guide to every wedding venue in Atlanta, GA, from the Westside to Decatur, Chamblee, and Buckhead. As long as it is within ITP (In The Perimeter of I-285), it should be in this guide. This guide includes everything from industrial warehouses and luxury ballrooms to rooftop terraces and epic garden locations. This list of venues goes from small and affordable to large and luxurious, so there’s something here for every budget. And no matter where you get married, you will be close to an interstate!

A guide to All ITP Atlanta Wedding Venues

This post is constantly being updated when new information is available. And if you know of a venue that I’m missing, make sure to leave a comment below so I can update my post!

The Biltmore Ballrooms

Website: The Biltmore Ballrooms

As a Georgia Tech grad, this next venue is a part of the skyline I saw every day for five years and brings a sense of home to me. The Biltmore Ballrooms. Built in 1924, it was once publicized as “The South’s Supreme Hotel”, and features original handcrafted plaster relief ceilings, restored crystal chandeliers, Palladian windows and Tennessee marble floors. With two beautiful ballrooms and stunning green spaces nearby, this is a wonderfully unique place to hold your wedding!

If you go up to the pool level, you can get AWESOME skyline shots of Downtown Atlanta? I have loved capturing Georgian Terrace weddings!

These wedding venues are for those who are looking for a blend of historic and modern that overlooks Piedmont Park, The Piedmont Room and The Piedmont Garden Tent. Originally built in 1905, the building was used as horse stables and then turned into the clubhouse to the golf course that once was in the park. These venues include “Stone Mountain granite walls, original ivy-covered windows, and traditional wooden planked walls have been preserved to honor the building’s history”. Who also doesn’t like walking out into the Park for a skyline view?

Upstairs Atlanta

Website: Upstairs Atlanta

Upstairs Atlanta is located in Grant Park and was originally a Blacksmith building. It was later converted into a venue with a modern, rustic, and chic design. The beautiful main hall extends outdoors to our covered patio and outdoor terrace. The venue isn’t just an event space where you come in and have to handle everything yourself. You work with their event director leading up to the day of the event for walkthroughs, to build your floor plans and down to every venue detail. The Westside Warehouse

A cocktail party setup for a Westside Warehouse Wedding.

Website: The Westside Warehouse

The space used to be an antique shop run by her mother, and after a few years of the antique industry, they decided to renovate a turn the space into an event space. They wanted to try to differentiate ourselves from other venues by including the leftover antique furniture for clients to use, and by offering a slightly more flexible approach to the venue process. The space has 3 different outdoor areas to choose from for cocktail hour, antique furniture, and 60-inch round and highboy tables. They are present throughout every walkthrough to help couples ideate and bring their vision to life. By utilizing each of their antique pieces, every wedding is different and with three different outdoor areas, your weddings will always be unique! Want to see more of the space? These venues are typically characterized by exposed brick, aged wood, iron beams or trusses viewable in the ceilings, and massive open areas. Want some examples of Industrial Atlanta Wedding Venues? Then, read on!

Westside Warehouse

Website: The Westside Warehouse
First up, a favorite of mine: Westside Warehouse. It is a wedding venue in West Midtown Atlanta characterized by exposed iron beams, concrete floors, and, my favorite part, rustic French details. My favorite detail is the antique French doors! It boasts 6,400 square feet of interior space and an additional 5,000+ square feet of outdoor and covered patio areas.
You can also check out a Degas Inspired Editorial shoot I did there by clicking here.

Bishop Station

Website: Bishop Station
Bishop Station is located in Midtown Atlanta near Atlantic station. Its main floor has 3,600 square feet and is characterized by a tall curved pine ceiling decorated with chandeliers, antique brick with three sides of expansive windows, and chevron-patterned hardwood floors. Need more space? Head down the elevator for an additional 3,600 square feet of event space that includes a furnished lounge area and a beautiful built-in bar.

King Plow Arts Center

Website: King Plow
King Plow Arts Center was originally an antiquated plow factory that was transformed into an arts community and center for commercial, performing and visual arts. It is located in Atlanta’s Westside area and features thirty-foot ceilings and two spaces of over 8000 sq ft that can be used separately or as one wide open space.

Park Studios

Website: Park Studios
Looking for a smaller venue for a more intimate wedding or event? Park Studios is a 1000-square-foot natural light studio located in Buckhead Atlanta, GA. It is an all-white studio with two large 9’, west-facing windows and contains pristine, all-white hardwood flooring throughout. There is an additional 1250 square-foot of pre-reception space, perfect for cocktails, mingling, and passing hors d’oeuvres in case you need it!

Terminus 330

Website: Terminus 330
Terminus 330 features an impressive wrought iron entrance, original hardwoods, vaulted ceilings, a rooftop terrace that overlooks the Atlanta skyline, and a cellar that harkens back to Prohibition days with original stonework and vintage lighting. It is located just west of Centennial Olympic Park, and the area is surrounded by hotels that allow your guests to walk to your wedding. Cause who wants to drive home from your wedding day?!?

The Foundry at Puritan Mill

Website: The Foundry at Puritan Mill
The Foundry at Puritan Mill was built as a soap and cleaning product factory before its restoration and conversion. At 12,000 square feet, The Foundry at Puritan Mill includes original pine beams, expansive skylights, and polished concrete floors which allows for wonderful installations if needed. The space can be configured as one giant open area or smaller, more intimate areas as needed.

It opened in the Spring of 2021 so it hasn’t been around for very long and already looks like it will be a new favorite Industrial Atlanta Wedding Venue of mine!

Summerour Studio
