Their Spring Buckhead Wedding at Summerour Studio
When I finally got to meet Ted and Holly (and their adorable pup) at their Whittier Park engagement session, I knew their wedding was going to be a BLAST. Holly and Ted had a touching church ceremony at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church and then hosted the most amazing reception at Summerour Studio. I think I may be a little OBSESSED with their wedding day. Their photos turned out to be such a mix of classic beauty with the charm that I just can’t stop staring at them!
How They Met
Holly and Ted met back in college but actually didn’t start dating until much later. They knew they were interested in each other because Holly was scheduled to go live in Budapest the following semester. Holly and Ted didn’t know what would happen when she was abroad but decided to just see how it went. They ended up talking almost every day while she was abroad and met up almost immediately when she got back. They had one full year together at college before Ted graduated and moved to Charleston for Medical School. Holly finished out her senior year (of course visiting him often), and then moved to Charleston for the summer. In the fall, she started Law School in Nashville which made their long-distance relationship even longer.
They made it work however and got engaged this past November at the Georgia Aquarium. Ted had originally planned to propose in the park but as with most of their relationship, nothing went to plan. They went back to Holly’s childhood home and he surprised her by flying all my best friends from childhood, college, and law school in to celebrate. Finally, after 4 years of long-distance, they are finally living and working in the same place and could not be happier.
Holly & Ted
Congrats! I am so honored to have been a part of your day and can’t wait to see where life takes the both of you!
