Lyndsey and Taylor’s intimate Chimneys at Big Canoe Wedding was everything a beautiful Fall wedding could be and more!
Typically in September, you expect heat waves, but not an unexpected (but wonderful!) cold front to come through (Thank you Hurricane Harvey!). It brought in nice, cool weather and wonderful gusts of wind to cool off a rather hot month, if I do say so myself. Add in the spectacular views around this Big Canoe Wedding and you get an amazing Fall day you would only find in October!
After hearing Lyndsey and Taylor’s kismet story, I couldn’t help but chuckle. They met at Baptist Christian Ministries (or BCM) at the University of North Georgia, and quite literally, Taylor knocked Lyndsey off her feet so much that he ended up giving her a concussion! Taylor somehow smooth talked his way into getting her to go on a date with him and it was history after that.
Their wedding day started out like any other. The girls arrived early to start getting ready while the guys arrived a little later for the big day. After capturing all of the details, it was finally the big moment for Lyndsey and Taylor to see each other! To continue with the intimate feel of this wedding, Lyndsey and Taylor read vows they had written to each other in a private setting. Lyndsey approached her soon-to-be husband in her long flowing gown with a GORGEOUS veil and turned him around. All I could see was pure elation and joy on Taylor’s as he looked upon Lyndsey.
The rest of the day remained intimate and sweet. They had a simple brunch wedding that everyone enjoyed after watching Lyndsey and Taylor share their first dance. The reception ended with an amazing bubble exit and of course, some great love notes on their car from their friends. :p
After the reception, we whisked them away to the Clubhouse where we took the most breathtaking scenic shots. I squealed out loud when I saw these views. It also helped that Taylor and Lyndsey were naturals in front of the camera and made every image we took even more special. Because of the amazing shots that we were able to get, I think I am going to recommend continued couples portraits after the reception to all of my couples who end their wedding day before sunset!
Thank you Lyndsey & Taylor for letting me tag along on the first day of your biggest adventure and thank you to Laura Watson Photography for having me as your second shooter again!
