I watched from afar while Cindy and Daniel had their first look in their neighbor’s backyard. It was such a sweet moment for their Decatur Elopement. Daniel held his bride-to-be Cindy so tight because she was beyond thrilled to finally see him on their big day. Cindy was extremely stressed out because she wanted everything to be perfect for their wedding. And in all honesty, their backyard elopement in Decatur could not have been more perfect.
I can’t believe one of my bestest friends in the whole wide world is married! And to top it off, she had at-home in Decatur Elopement!
I just had shot their engagement session in Downtown Decatur only a couple of weeks before. And I couldn’t believe that the big day had arrived! It was, of course, a very hot and humid day in the middle of June. We were all running in and out of their house to try and stay cool! As I was capturing the details, I could believe that everyone had pitched in to help setup the ceremony site in Cindy and Daniel’s backyard. It was absolutely beautiful, and completely meant for these two! Then, it was time for the ceremony! Cindy and Daniel wanted to make sure everyone knew this was a very relaxed affair and not supposed to be at all traditional. To prove this fact, Cindy even asked everyone to sit back down when she walked down the aisle! Their ceremony was so sweet and, truth be told, I might have cried a little (I mean it was a bestie getting married). Then, of course, Daniel and Hamilton (his BFFL 4eva) did their signature high five to celebrate! After family formals, it was off to their reception at 2-4-6 in Downtown Decatur!
Cindy & Daniel,
Thank you both so much for letting me be apart of your incredible wedding. I could not have asked for a lovelier time and I can’t wait to go on one of your epic trips with the two of you someday!
